DIY Pumpkin Pie Wax Melts

Warming, Immune boosting, feelgood cosy vibes

PUMPKIN WAX MELT RECIPEEssential oil blend

Top Note: 6 drops Sweet Orange

Middle Note: 4 drops Cinnamon, 2 drops Clove & 2 drops Nutmeg

Base Note: 3 drops Benzoin- Vanilla tones & 3 drops Ginger

Blend the oils in a small amber bottle, cap tightly, and let the blend rest for 24 hours before use. This will allow the essential oils to synergise together and enhance the effects of the aromatherapy blend. Double up to increase aroma strength.

Ingredients and equipment

·        Natural Soya Wax- 100 grams (you can use beeswax for a firmer tab but it may alter the aroma)

·        Essential oil blend- up to 100 drops (4- 5ml)

·        Silicone mold

·        Baine Marie or Double boiler

·        Glass measuring beaker with pouring lip

Method

Melt Wax and leave to cool for a few minutes then pour into glass beaker before adding 20-40 drops of the essential oil blend depending on the desired aroma and stir well.

Pour into moulds and leave to set or a few hours or harden in the fridge.

How to use

Place 1 wax melt into wax melt burner, and light tea light underneath.

Sit back and relax in your favourite cosy jumper and soft fluffy socks wrapping yourself in a cocoon of autumn vibes.

Remember to never leave a candle unattended and keep essential oils out of reach of little wondering hands.
