Clinical Reflexology with specialist expertise in Five Element and Maternity Reflexology.
I discovered complimentary therapies in my twenties, seeking relaxation to manage the impact of a busy job and lifestyle in London. I remember being amazed at how something so simple helped and the deep state of relaxation I felt. Nurturing this interest I trained in Clinical Reflexology in 2004 (Level 3 Diploma with the AoR) to become a fully qualified practitioner and a Member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR).
In the last 10 years I have been able to add to this initial training and develop my experience and treatment style in a number of ways:
- Establishing my own clinical practice in the Cotswolds.
- Spent a year studying the principles of Chinese Medicine through the Five Element Theory at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick.
- Undertaking a Five Element Reflexology Course at the Bath Complimentary College.
- Completing a Diploma in Maternity Reflexology with Louise Keet (MAR), London.
I now use this formal training, along with practical and personal experience in my treatment room. The Five Element theory has been pivotal in my approach. A key tenet of this philosophy is about living in tune with nature, which has been a key motivation for providing a clinic space within a natural environment.
