This part time course will enable students to provide professional make-up applications for their clients in either their own clinic or in employment at Beauty Salons or Spas.

Course content:

• Corrective, day, evening special occasion and bridal make-up applications
• Skin types, diseases and disorders
• Client consultation
• Equipment and products
• Effects of light on make- up application
• Health and hygiene
• Contraindications
• Contra-actions

The course is divided into theory study and practical.

Assessment: Case studies and exams required to be completed for this ITEC Record of Achievement certificate.

Course Duration: 1 day 9.30am – 4.00pm & 2 exam days

Attendance Dates: May 13th or September 13th

 Entrance Requirements: No previous experience necessary however this qualification can be used towards gaining your Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist.
