The Tutors

Our training courses are run by a team of expert tutors, all qualifying and practicing therapists in their chosen field. With small tutor groups, students have the benefit of individual guidance and attention at all times.

Jenny Wrigley - ITEC Dip, RGN, Health Ed Dip,

Has been involved in Complementary Therapies for the last 13 years, to include Holistic Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, On Site Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Reiki. Trained initially as a nurse, she has been working with young people in the field of Health Education and has been teaching Complementary therapies for 6 years. Jenny also works as a Therapist with the local hospice and recently has set up a Lymphoedema clinic as part of the Gloucestershire Lymphoedema service. Jenny has been part of the successful team at the Academy since 1999 and has been an inspiration to her students with her immense knowledge.

Annette Stoker-ITEC Dip
Annette is an experienced therapist who runs her own Complementary Therapy business alongside working in a prestigious Spa and teaching at the Academy. She is inspirational and extremely passionate about Complementary Therapies.

Jeff Docherty
Jeff has been involved with Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 15 years. He is a qualified Shiatsu Practioner and Acupuncturist. Jeff has long enjoyed meditation practice spending 2 years studying in India and living formally as a Buddhist yogi in a monastic setting. Jeff teaches Qi Gong and Sun style Taiji Chuan.

Carol Hunt - ITEC Dip

Carol is an experienced Beauty and Holistic Therapist and has a wide range of knowledge within the Beauty and Spa industry. She has worked at Management level whilst always being a hands-on Therapist. Carol runs her own business in Wiltshire and has built up a solid client base alongside teaching Beauty Therapy at the college. She takes great pleasure from enthusing students reach their full potential whilst passing on her passion for the industry.
