This intensive course will enable students to provide treatments for permanent removal of unwanted hair.

The ITEC Diploma in Epilation will allow you to work within the health and beauty sector in a wide variety of establishments worldwide.

Course Content

The course will cover practical, theory and case study work which will all take place at the Academy. Your case studies will probably require additional time for the writing up process which is not included in your course hours.

Assessment

ITEC diplomas are examination based qualifications.

There will be a practical assessment conducted by an external ITEC Examiner where you will be required to carry out a full epilation treatment.

Your theory examination consists of one or two papers (depending on previous qualifications) and will be multiple choice questions.

You will be required to complete 12 case studies which will be assessed by your course tutor and then verified by the ITEC examiner on examination day.


Course Duration

This is a two week intensive course 9.30am until 4.00pm. You will also be required to attend an assessment and mock exam before your actual exam.

Entrance requirements

ITEC Level 2 Beauty Specialist or Level 2 Waxing Depilation/ or equivalent. (if you are unsure about your qualifications then please contact the Academy)

ITEC Unit 22 in Professional Conduct and Business Awareness is a necessary requirement for this course however there is the option for the theory paper to be taken at the time of exams for an additional cost.
