ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Practitioner Aromatherapy

This course is an absolute essential for any Therapist involved in the Complementary Therapy and Care Industry.

Training to become a Clinical Aromatherapist will give you the specialist knowledge needed to be able to blend and prescribe for your clients specific needs. This practice will also enable you to treat clients and prevent health problems.

This course is approved by the AOC (Aromatherapy Consortium) and the BCMA (The British Complementary Medical Association).

Course Content:

  • Working properties of 45 essential oils
  • Properties of 7 Carrier oils
  • Oil blending, synergies, definitions
  • Diseases & Disorders of all body systems
  • Advanced massage techniques, lymphatic drainage and acupressure points
  • Skincare & Facials
  • Specialist sessions to include, for example, Aromatherapy for Stress Management, Aromatherapy for cancer patients.

Each session is divided into 50% theory study and 50% Practical massage.

Assessment: Case studies, assignment and exams are required to be completed for this award.

Course Dates: Course commences 9th July 2012 (attendance required Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for four consecutive weeks)
