This intensive two week course will enable students to provide treatments for permanent removal of unwanted hair.

The ITEC Diploma in Epilation will allow you to work within the health and beauty sector in a wide variety of establishments worldwide.

Course Content:

The course will cover practical, theory and case study work which will all take place at the Academy. Your case studies will probably require additional time for the writing up process which is not included in your course hours.

• Related Anatomy and Physiology
• Short wave Diathermy and blend methods covered
• Heating pattern and selection of needles
• Skin analysis
• Client care
• Contra-indications
• Treatment planning
• Health, hygiene and safety

Assessment: Case studies and exams are required to complete this course.

 Course Dates:                 24th July 2012 – 2nd August 2012 (attendance is required every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for two consecutive weeks)

Entrance Requirements: ITEC Level 2 Beauty Specialist or equivalent

ITEC Unit 22 in Professional Conduct and Business Awareness is a necessary requirement for this course.
